PRINCIPAL FEATURES
Extracting files from Disk
(Volumes): 100% Xenix™/Unix™ compatibility,
retrieves TAR disks/Volumes, creating subdirectories, UNIX wildcards allowed
Writing wiping disk: performs backup/write data in TAR format, Secure Wipe of destination device/disk/volume. Easy MS-DOS(c) wildcards, subdirectories recursing, data checksum verification
Writing files adding to disk: appending data to your existing TAR volumes with no pain
Disk Directory: scan your TAR volumes, recording data to an editable text file (if you specify it). Keep a directory list of all your TAR volumes
Format disk: perform UNIX-Like format on non standard disks
Select new device: allows to select de source/destination Unix-Like device
Mode of Extraction: TAR Mode-> default, 100% Xenix/Unix compatible / FULL Mode-> perform a FULL read of all disk contents. This is a great tool when you try to read a damaged TAR disk (with TAR method, the extraction stop with an error, FULL mode continues and recover all your DATA)
Translator: performs a data conversion (when sets ON or AUTOMATIC->according to file type). It "transform" your data to be compatible with destination operating system, DATABASES, program sources, text files, RM-Cobol© data files/programs, Foxbase© data files/programs, etc.
Verify: secure check (when sets ON) of all your written data
